Sew-in or iron-on
RFID tags suited to the textile can be discreetly sewn in or attached by heat sealing.
Solution / Textilio
RFID textile identification connecting handovers with records. Turn a physical process into useful information.
Textilio
Textilio uses RFID identifiers placed in textiles. Identification helps connect the handover point, textile movements and records. The configuration is agreed around the actual workflow.
RFID tags suited to the textile can be discreetly sewn in or attached by heat sealing.
Wash-resistant identifiers support textile tracking through many wash cycles.
With a suitable bag-reading setup, up to 500 textiles can be identified without unpacking them individually.
THE PROCESS, ILLUSTRATED
TextilioCAPABILITIES
An RFID approach suited to the textile and the task.
Design of the reading point and handling process.
Organise data associated with textile movements.
Fit the solution to existing operations after an individual assessment.
WORKFLOW
These steps illustrate the approach. Configuration and implementation are designed for the specific assignment.
Understand materials, handling conditions and handover points.
Select identification and reading methods for the task.
Connect the physical workflow with the required data.
IN PRACTICE
Textilio is RFIT’s textile tracking solution. Station configuration, handling conditions and integrations are agreed together before implementation.
GOOD TO KNOW
The choice depends on the textile and its conditions of use and handling.
We assess this against the actual workflow. The reading point and handling process determine the configuration together.
The required handover, record-keeping and inventory workflows are defined during the individual assessment.
